Tom Foley is a Senior Typographic Advisor at Dalton Maag, a custom and retail font foundry based in London. Tom is an expert in his field and delivered a two-hour lecture followed by one to one tutorials with third year Graphic Design students who are currently submitting their work for the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) competition. This was invaluable advice from Tom as he also serves on the judging board for the ISTD.
Dalton Maag place a high value on craft as their fonts have to function across diverse environments on an international scale. Some of their global clients have included Samsung, BMW, Intel, Burberry and Toyota to name a few. As well as working for a breadth of clients, Dalton Maag also design fonts for general purpose which can be downloaded by anyone.
