After a busy 5 weeks of working in mixed groups, Year 2 presented their websites and individual responses to their research. This research was based upon a given area for example, Infrastructure, Population, Geometry and Power. From these starting points each student focused in depth/became obsessed with one element. In mixed groups of photographers, illustrators, graphic designers and motion designers these elements have been transformed into informative web projects. The crits showed and exciting range of approaches considering tone of voice, user experience, multi-device design, and intended audience. Overall this has been a good introduction to the advantages and challenges of group work and appreciation of each members specialist skills.
