The students used the narrative of their photobook as the starting point for the second part of the workshop. They were asked to “translate” their work from the book to the wall. They discovered that this is not a standardized process and there are multiple factors involved. Working from gridded paper to conceptualize the installation, they carried on to install the work to scale.
As you can notice, our students have delivered a variation of approaches, from the geometrical to the organic and from the monumental to the intimate.
